Exactly five years after the Convention entered into force, Nairobi Summit President-Designate Ambassador Wolfgang Petritsch participated in an event at the Starehe Boys Centre in Nairobi to inform Kenyan youth of the importance of the Nairobi Summit. Also participating in this event were the Assistant Minister in the Office of the President, the Honourable Kivutha Kibwana, Mereso Agina of the Kenyan chapter of the ICBL, and Peter Herby of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
